- Matthew Lison scored from a nearly the same spot as Culbertson less than two minutes later by burying a backhand off a Matt Rubinoff feed.
- Spencer Antunez set up a power play goal midway through the first, teeing up a shot above the left circle. Rubinoff got his stick on the puck to deflect the shot at the far post.

- Midway through the period Daniel McMullan finished off a play that began back in Bowdoin's own defensive zone. The Polar Bears broke out into a three-on-two. Rubinoff worked the puck down the left boards after taking a feed from Lison in the middle. Rubinoff crossed to McMullan on the opposite side.
- Lison scored a power play goal with under seven to play in the period. Chris Wallace set up Rubinoff who backhanded a shot in front of net that Nolan Daley initially saved, but Lison put away the rebound to go ahead 7-0.
- Wesleyan spoiled the shutout with less than three minutes to play in the second period and tallied consecutive goals before the clock expired. Jaren Taenaka threw the puck out to Jordan Jancze in the low slot from behind Bowdoin's net. Jancze took advantage of the quick feed to best Peter Cronin.
- The Cardinals scored with seven seconds remaining in the frame, on the power play, to double their goal count. Mike Yablong skated right to left in the Bowdoin zone, carving the inside edge of the circle, and wristed a shot past Cronin.
