Box Score CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Claremont Mudd Scripps women's basketball team outscored Bowdoin 14-6 in the overtime session to hand the Polar Bears their first defeat of the season, 70-62, on Thursday evening in California.
The 13th-ranked Polar Bears fall to 8-1 this year while the Athenas improve to 5-5.

- Bowdoin led for the entire first half and held a 28-19 lead at halftime thanks to a buzzer-beating three-pointer from Kate Kerrigan.
