WATERVILLE, Maine – Both men's and women's swimming & diving put together dominant performances on Saturday afternoon to outpace Colby College.
On the men's side, the Polar Bears posted a 212-109 victory. A Bowdoin swimming placed first in 15 out of 18 total events for the men, while the women put together a 206.5-120.5 point victory with the same number of first place finishes.
Women's Meet Results
- Holly Rudel took first in both the 50 (29.05) and 100 (1:01.43) backstroke.
- Mariah Rawding turned in the fastest times in the 50 yard breaststroke and 200 IM with a 31.78 and 2:13.55 respectively.
- Mariah Reading had a top finish in the 50 butterfly (27.37).
- Caroline Watt completed the 1000 yard freestyle with an 11:03.59 for first.
- Bridget Killian won both the 100 (55.34) and 200 (1:57.46) freestyle events.
- Ally Fromson-Ho tallied a victory in the 200 butterfly, turning in a 2:09.41.
- Christine Anderson won the 1-meter diving event with a 259.57, while Rebecca Stern won the 3-meter with 207.02.
- Lela Garner finished first in the 200 backstroke (2:10.94).
- Linnea Patterson had a top 500 free time of 5:23.07.
- Katherine Kronick won the 100 butterfly at 1:00.91
- Killian, Rawding, Sophia Walker, and Sterling Dixon combined for a 1:42.12 in the 200 yard freestyle relay.
Men's Meet Results
- Nathan Garner had a pair of wins with a 25.77 50 yard backstroke and 56.02 in the 100.
- Mike Netto won both the 50 breaststroke (27.47) and 100 breaststroke (1:00.95).
- Logan House took first in the 50 butterfly, turning in a 24.01, and the 100 yard free (49.98).
- Gabriel Siwady covered 1000 yards in 10:00.68 for the top spot.
- Karl Sarier finished first in both the 200 free (1:46.53) and 200 IM (1:58.05).
- JR Chansakul took a pair of butterfly victories at 100 (53.24) and 200 (2:02.44) yards.
- Mitch Ryan swept the diving events with 263.02 points at the lower height, and 240.80 on the 3-meter.
- Daniel Williams took first in the 500 free, turning in a 4:54.86.
- Netto, House, Will Hutchinson, and John Lagasse combined for a first-place finish in the 200 free relay (1:29.63).
