Biography
2015-2016: Top 8 in the 50 Fly at NESCACs...Finalist in other idividual events.
2014-2015: NESCAC finalist in multiple events.
2013-2014: Helped set the 800 freestyle relay record...set 400 IM record that stood for five minutes.
Nathan Garner is one of the team’s most versatile swimmers, specializing in the 200 IM, 400 IM, 200 breaststroke, and 1000 freestyle. Before joining the Bowdoin Polar Bears and the Class of 2017, Nate swam for Crimson Aquatics, played ultimate frisbee for his high school, and wrote for his school and local newspaper. Outside of the pool, he enjoys hiking, video games, biking, and playing the guitar. This season, Nate is looking forward to training with the Bowdoin Distance Crew and perfecting his bubble ring skills.
