Depth Leads Men's Tennis to Road Win at Colby

WATERVILLE, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's tennis team got back into the win column with a 6-3 road win over Colby on Wednesday.

The Polar Bears, ranked eighth nationally, improved to 10-3 overall and 4-2 in league play. The Mules dropped to 6-7 and 1-3 in conference play.

Bowdoin's #2 doubles pairing of Kyle Wolstencroft/Gil Roddy earned a 8-3 win and then claimed an important 9-8 (6) victory at #3 doubles courtesy of Kyle Wolfe/Noah Bragg to give the visitors a 2-1 lead.

The Polar Bears' depth clinched the win in singles action as Bowdoin swept positions #3-6. Wolfe cruised (6-3, 6-0) at #3 as did Wolstencroft (6-1, 6-0) at #5 and Roddy (6-3, 6-1) at #6. Tercek needed three sets to rally for a win at #4 (4-6, 7-5, 6-1).
