Box Score MEDFORD, Mass. – The Bowdoin men's soccer team concluded the regular season with a 0-0 double overtime tie at Tufts on Wednesday afternoon, setting up a NESCAC quarterfinal between the two teams to be played Saturday in Medford.

How It Happened
- The most promising scoring opportunities for either team during regulation came in the second half. Early in the frame Rui Pinheiro had space in front of Bowdoin's goal, but was unable to get a clean touch on the feed. Austin Downing launched a shot from the top of the box, 22 minutes into the half, but Scott Greenwood made the save for Tufts.
- Both teams stepped up their offensive pressure in the soggy overtime periods. Greenwood and Bowdoin keeper Stevie Van Siclen each made three saves in overtime to keep the game scoreless.
- Bowdoin's most promising chance came in the second overtime as Andrew Jones sent a feed to the goal face where Levi Morant waited to head the shot. Greenwood denied the bid.
- The Jumbos looked to end the game in the 106th minute with a shot by Jason Kayne from 18 yards out. Kayne arced a high shot that looked like it would sneak in below the crossbar, but Van Siclen leapt up to push the ball over the top and keep the game knotted at nil.
- Tufts ended the game with a 17-9 edge in shots, but directed only five of those bids on net. Greenwood ended the day with six saves, while Van Siclen stopped five for the Polar Bears.
