Men's Tennis Cruises to Road Victory Saturday at Tufts

MEDFORD, Mass. - The Bowdoin College men's tennis team dispatched Tufts 7-2 on Saturday afternoon.

The 12th-ranked Polar Bears have rolled to six consecutive wins and stand at 8-4 overall this spring. They will return to Brunswick to host third-ranked Amherst at 2:00 p.m.

Bowdoin took a 2-1 advantage following doubles play, getting an 8-3 win from Kyle Wolstencroft/Sam King at #1 and an 8-2 win from Noah Bragg/Chris Lord at #3.

The Polar Bears cruised to four straight-set wins in singles action, getting points from Luke Trinka (6-2, 6-2 at #2), King (6-3, 6-2 at #3), Chris Lord (6-3, 6-2 at #4) and Chase Savage (6-2, 6-4 at #6) to seal the win. Wolstencroft battled to a three-set win as well (2-6, 7-5, 10-6) at #5.
