Bowdoin struck for the first goal of the evening at 14:59 of the opening period off a UNE turnover in its defensive zone. Bowdoin pushed the lead to 2-0 while on the power play early in the final period. Co-captain Danny Palumbo collected a loose puck in UNE's defensive zone and rifled home a wrist shot near post from a tough angle below the left circle.
