Men's Tennis Wins Eighth Straight Match in Convincing Fashion Over Hamilton

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's tennis team cruised to an 8-1 win over visiting Hamilton on Sunday afternoon.

The ninth-ranked Polar Bears improve to 10-5 this season and extend their winning streak to eight consecutive matches- the longest winning streak for the program since 2000.

Bowdoin swept doubles play for the eighth straight match, getting victories from Kyle Wolstencroft and Doug Caplan, Oscar Pena and Ken Winingham, and Nicholas Fenichell and Andrew Won.

The Polar Bears then sealed the win with straight-set wins at the top five singles spots. Casey Grindon, Chris Lord, Noah Bragg, Doug Caplan and Peter Davis collected points at number one through five, respectively.

Bowdoin will host Colby in their next match on Friday, April 27 at 4:00 p.m.
