BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's tennis team, ranked
14th in Division III, closed out their regular season with a 7-2
win over Bates on Friday afternoon. The Polar Bears finish with a
10-5 record (5-3 NESCAC) and will learn their seeding for the
upcoming NESCAC Tournament when pairings are announced early next
week.
On Friday, Bowdoin won two of three doubles matches and then took
wins at five of the six singles matches to seal the victory. Casey
Grindon led the way for the Polar Bears, capturing his singles
point at #5 and combining with Tyler Anderson to earn a win at #3
doubles play.
