LEWISTON, Maine - The Bowdoin College men's tennis team swept
Bates 9-0 on Thursday night to claim the CBB Championship. The
Polar Bears swept the doubles matches and dropped just two sets in
singles play to earn their seventh-straight victory overall.
In matches between ranked opponents, 17th-ranked Stephen Sullivan
beat #7 Ben Stein in singles action. Bowdoin's top doubles team of
Oscar Pena and Jamie Neely defeated fourt-ranked Stein and Amrit
Rupasinghe.
