The Eagles would score two runs in the bottom of the inning by being patient at the plate as they drew two walks to start off the inning. After Ethan Guerette scored on a wild pitch, Nick Arthers would get one RBI closer to breaking Husson's single-season record for RBI as he brought Maguire home on a sacrifice fly.

In the sixth inning, Maguire had an RBI ground out and Arthers would beat out a groundball that would score Kyle Vanidestine from third, trying the game 8-8. After a walk, Dennis Graham would burn the right fielder, giving him a two run RBI double and the Eagles their first lead of the game.

In the top of the seventh, Edwards would hit a double that bounced off the left-center field fence. Joe Pace would then step to the plate and single home Edwards. The Eagles would put the game away in the eighth as they scored nine runs, highlighted by a three RBI double by pinch hitter Matt Archetti.
