Men's Hockey Rolls Bantams in 3-1 Road Win

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Bowdoin men's hockey team continued to cruise with its fifth straight win in a 3-1 victory at Trinity on Friday evening.

The Polar Bears are 15-5-1 (11-3-1 NESCAC) as the Bantams sit at 10-10-1 (4-10-1 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights
  • Bowdoin scored under five minutes into the game to carry an early 1-0 lead. Isaac Abbott fired a shot from left point and Bryce Bollman got a deflection on the puck as it came through the screen in front to tally a goal.
  • Bollman had his second of the game on a power play with 1:56 remaining in the second. Bollman streaked in to clean up a rebound off a Michael Dinges shot.
  • Trinity got a goal back in the last 3:30 of the game as Brendan Dumas buried a wrister from in front of the net.
  • Michael Dinges iced the game with an empty-net goal in the last 32 seconds.

  • Bowdoin went 1-for-3 on the power play.
  • Trinity was 0-for-4 on the power play.
  • Jacob Osborne was a wall for the Polar Bears with 40 saves, including 22 in the final frame.
