Squash Teams Drop Thursday Decisions to Amherst

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College squash teams dropped matches to Amherst in action on Thursday afternoon at the Lubin Center. The 21st-ranked men's team dropped 4-8 this season while the 18th-ranked women's team stands at 5-7 after the setback.
 
Match Highlights
  • The men's team dropped a 5-4 decision to the 16th-ranked Mammoths while the women's team fell by an 8-1 score to 10th-ranked Amherst.
  • For the women's team Kira Gwadry led at number three, 2-1, before taking the win due to retirement (8-11, 13-11, 11-3 RE).
  • The men's team battled in a close match with Oliver Pride taking a 3-1 victory and a trio of other Polar Bears claiming hard-fought 3-2 wins. Liam Waldron, Jai Karande, and Ronak Nagar accounted for the other Bowdoin victories.
