Volleyball Sweeps Pair of Saturday Non-Conference Matches

BOSTON, Mass. – The Bowdoin College volleyball team bounced back from a hard-fought Friday loss at Colby to sweep a pair of non-conference matches in Boston on Saturday afternoon. The Polar Bears stand at 7-6 (0-2 NESCAC) with the weekend results.
 
Colby Highlights Clark Highlights
  • Bowdoin made quick work in their first match Saturday, posting a 25-18, 25-18, 25-17 sweep of the Cougars.
  • LaMendola had eight kills and seven digs while Mina Mittler posted six kills and three aces.
  • Shelly racked up 31 assists and Yeh finished with ten digs to pace the Polar Bears.
Emerson Highlights
  • Bowdoin capped their weekend with a 3-0 sweep of Emerson by scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-21.
  • Alison Smith led Bowdoin with 14 kills against the Lyons, while LaMendola had nine kills and 17 digs.
  • Mina Mittler added seven kills, two aces, and two blocks while Cameron Shelly notched four aces and had 32 assists.
