WELLESLEY, Mass. – The Bowdoin College women's golf team went 3-1, finishing as runners-up to Williams at the Ann Batchelder Match Play Championship hosted by Wellesley College at Nehoiden Golf Club this weekend.
 
Weekend Highlights

• In five-player match play competitions, the Polar Bears defeated Middlebury twice (3-2 in both matches), as well as Babson (4-1). Their lone loss was to Williams (3.5-1.5), who went 3-0-1 for the weekend, just edging out Bowdoin (3-1-0) for the title.
• Katie Ng and Emily Renoff both finished the weekend undefeated in matches. Renoff went 4-0 while Ng went 3-0-1.
• Shivani Schmulen picked up three wins, defeating Middlebury twice and Babson.

• Bowdoin will return to traditional tournament play next weekend at Middlebury for the George Phinney Classic.
