BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's tennis team made quick work of Baruch College in a 4-0 decision in the Second Round of the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Tournament Friday morning at Pickard Courts.
 
The Polar Bears (18-4) advance to Saturday's regional final against the winner of Babson-Stevens while Baruch ends the year with a record of 13-4.
 
Match Highlights

• Bowdoin won the doubles point thanks to a pair of quick wins at #1 from Pieter Breuker/Kiran Garapati (6-0) and #2 from Jackson Codd/Mark Kneiss (6-1)
• In singles play, Andrew Mendelson won the first match at #6 with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout.
• The clinching points came in quick succession after that as Kiran Garapati closed out a 6-0, 6-1 win at #5 moments before Cameron Zia finished off his match at #4, 6-0, 6-0 to put Bowdoin over the top.
