Men's Tennis Picks Up Second Win Of the Weekend Against Williams

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin men's tennis team picked up another NESCAC win with a 7-0 victory over visiting Williams on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Polar Bears are 11-1 (5-1 NESCAC) following a pair of big weekend wins over Middlebury and Williams.
 
Match Highlights
  • Bowdoin earned the doubles point with wins at #2 and #3. Mark Kneiss and Jackson Codd won at #2 6-3. Mick Tamas and Aden Dorros ground out a big 7-6 (14-12) win in the three spot to earn the point for Bowdoin.
  • The Polar Bears swept singles play. Kneiss finished 6-0, 6-4 at #1 and Kiran Garapati showed the depth of Bowdoin's lineup with a 6-2, 6-0 win at #6.
  • Andrew Mendelson finished off a two set win at #5 (7-6, 6-4).
  • Bowdoin won three-setters at two, three, and four.
  • Pieter Breuker rebounded after dropping the first set at #2 (0-6, 6-2, 7-5).
  • Cameron Zia managed a similar result at #4 (2-6, 6-4, 6-1).
  • Jackson Codd won his first set and won in three (6-4, 3-6, 6-3).
