BANGOR, Maine – Kevin Murray hit a 10^th inning solo homerun to lift the Bowdoin baseball team to a 4-3 victory over host Husson on Monday night.
 
The Polar Bears are 21-9 and found an answer to the Eagles' (17-9) win in Brunswick earlier in the season.
 
Game Highlights

• After retiring Bowdoin's first three batters, Husson went up 1-0 in the bottom of the first. A double through the left side with a runner on second allowed the hosts to get on the board.
• Bowdoin found an equalizer in the third inning. Grant Collins led off the inning with a double down the right field line and advanced to third off Cal Thompson's sacrifice bunt. Will Bordes set a sacrifice fly to right, plating Collins.
• Liam Foley doubled down the left field line to drive in Lukas Tsai and put Bowdoin on top. Will Cooke picked up an RBI single in the fourth to extend the lead.
• Husson forced extra innings after a pair of RBI singles in the eighth inning.
• Murray homered in the tenth. The Eagles had the bases loaded with two outs in the bottom half of the inning, but grounded out to shortstop.

 
By the Numbers

• Luca McKerley Coronado pitched six innings and allowed two hits and no earned runs. McKerley Coronado fanned seven batters and walked three.
• Five pitchers came out of the bullpen to finish the final four innings. Will Bordes recorded the win and Connor Cassady had the save.
• Liam Foley and Grant Collins each hit a double.
