BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin women's tennis team had s two-win Saturday with a 5-2 conference win at Colby and a 7-0 win at home against Nichols.
 
The Polar Bears sit at 12-4 on the year with a 6-2 NESCAC record.
 
Colby Match Highlights

• Bowdoin won the doubles points with victories at #1 and #2. Caroline Stuhlfaut teamed up with Jamilah Karah to go 6-4 at the top spot. Bella Hartung and Zoe Sun cruised to a 6-1 victory at #2.
• Bowdoin won #3-#6 singles to top the Mules. All four matches were decided in straight sets.
• Suzanne Pogorelec had identical 6-3 sets at #3.
• Karah battled to a 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) win at #4.
• Hartung took the point in the five spot with a 6-4, 6-3 finish.
• Sun dominated at #6 with 6-1 sets.

 
Nichols Match Highlights

• Bowdoin switched up doubles pairings and earned wins at #1 and #2. Candice Ballarin played with Karah in a 6-0 #1 win. Hung and Julia Ross won 6-2 at #2.
• Ross played a 6-4, 6-0 match at the top spot.
• Hartung went 6-2, 6-2 at #2.
• Sun played #3 and finished off a 6-1, 6-2 match, while Ballarin went 6-1, 6-1 at #4.
• Marie Frati nearly posted a shutout match at #5 going 6-1, 6-0.
• Phoebe Thorne rounded out the lineup with a 7-6, 4-6, 10-8 win.
