BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's tennis team earned a pair of wins on Saturday, dispatching MIT and Nichols in a pair of non-conference wins. The victories improve to the Polar Bears to 14-3 this spring.
 
MIT Match Highlights

• A sweep of doubles matches gave Bowdoin an early 1-0 advantage. Pieter Breuker/Kiran Garapati (6-2), Jackson Codd/Mark Kneiss (6-2), and Aden Dorros/Mick Tamas (6-2) put the Polar Bears ahead early.
• Bowdoin wasted little time putting the contest away as Breuker (6-3, 6-2), Codd (6-1, 6-2), Andrew Mendelson (6-3, 6-1), and Kiran Garapati (6-3, 7-6) netted straight-set wins.
• Mark Kneiss capped the day with a 6-1, 3-6, 1-0 (13-11) tiebreaker win at the number one spot.

Nichols Match Highlights

• With singles action underway first, Bowdoin clinched the team win quickly with five straight-set singles wins.
• Mendelson (6-4, 6-1), Dorros (7-5, 6-1), Tamas (6-1, 6-1), Jack Pollock (6-1, 6-2), and Sujan Garapati (6-0, 6-1) raced to straight-set wins. Viktor Fraenkel capped the session with a 6-7, 6-2, 1-0 (10-6) win.
• A pair of shutouts by Breuker/Garapati (6-0) and Mendelson/Cameron Zia (6-0) along with a win from Jack Pollock/Viktor Fraenkel (6-3)
