Men's Tennis Closes Out Regular Season With Sweep of Bates

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's tennis team blanked Bates in a dominating 7-0 decision on Wednesday afternoon at Pickard Courts. The win in their regular season finale lifts the Polar Bears to 15-3 (7-3 NESCAC).
 
Match Highlights
  • The Polar Bears left no doubt, winning all three doubles matches and all six singles matches by straight sets in the triumph.
  • Pieter Breuker/Kiran Garapati (6-4), Aden Dorros/Mick Tamas (6-1), and Andrew Mendelson/Cameron Zia (6-0) gave Bowdoin the doubles point.
  • Mark Kneiss (6-2, 6-0), Breuker (6-2, 6-4), Zia (6-2, 7-5), Mendelson (6-3, 7-6), Garapati (6-1, 6-1), and Dorros (6-0, 6-3) left little doubt in their singles sweeps to complete the shutout.
