Men's Tennis Dominates Singles Play in Win at Colby

WATERVILLE, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's tennis team rallied from a doubles deficit to take a 5-2 victory at Colby on Thursday evening. The victory snaps a brief two-match skid for the Polar Bears and improves them to 12-3 on the year while the Mules fall to 6-8 this spring.
 
Match Highlights
  • Bowdoin's number three doubles pair of Aden Dorros and Mick Tamas claimed a 6-3 win, but Colby won the other two matches to take a 1-0 lead heading to singles play.
  • The Polar Bears took care of business in singles play, winning five of six matches to pull away for the win.
  • Jackson Codd (6-3, 6-3), Andrew Mendelson (6-1, 6-3), and Kiran Garapati (6-2, 6-1) all took straight-set wins for Bowdoin.
  • Mark Kneiss (7-5, 4-6, 6-4) and Cameron Zia (6-2, 5-7, 6-3) claimed three-setters to push the Polar Bears over the top.
