BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin women's tennis team had a perfect weekend with wins over Hamilton and Amherst.
 
The Polar Bears are 10-4 with a 5-2 NESCAC record. Hamilton is 4-7 (2-5 NESCAC) and Amherst is 9-5 (5-3 NESCAC).
 
Hamilton Match Highlights

• Bowdoin defeated the Continentals 6-1.
• Bowdoin earned the doubles point with a 6-1 win at #2 (Zoe Sun and Bella Hartung) and a 6-2 win at #3 (Julia Ross and Cara Hung).
• The Polar Bears won two through six during singles play. Caroline Stuhlfaut went 7-6 (7-2), 1-6, 1-0 (10-2).
• Suzanne Pogorelec cruised to matching 6-0 sets.
• Jamilah Karah posted a
• Ross went 6-1, 6-3 at #5 and Hartung finished 6-0, 7-5 at #6.

 
Amherst Match Highlights

• Bowdoin defeated the Mammoths 5-2.
• The Polar Bears snagged the doubles point with wins at #2 and #3.
• Hartung and Sun went 6-4 at #2. Ross and Hung finished 6-3 at #3.
• Hung battled for a three-set win at #1 with a 6-3, 5-7, 7-5 final.
• Pogorelec also battled through three sets at #3 (6-7, 6-4, 6-4).
• Karah was Bowdoin's third singles player to win in three sets at #4 (6-4, 3-6, 7-5).
• Hartung was the lone Bowdoin winner in straight sets with a 6-2, 7-5 win at #6.
