BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin women's lacrosse team rolled to a 21-6 win in their return to Ryan Field on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Polar Bears climb to 4-3 and hand the Panthers their first loss of the season (4-1).
 
Game Highlights

• Plymouth State scored first, but Bowdoin responded with ten straight goals in the first quarter.
• Bowdoin scored another six consecutive goals in the second before the Panthers found the net with 21 seconds remaining before halftime.
• The Polar Bears slowed down their offensive pressure with a pair of goals in the third which Plymouth matched.
• Bowdoin posted three fourth-quarter goals and allowed a pair.

 
By the Numbers

• Lauren Burke led Bowdoin with six goals and Molly Reed recorded five.
• Miya Imaeda and Mara Muse each tallied three goals with two assists.
• Kate Mautz and Anna Paulmann scooped up three ground balls each.
• Paulmann and Elinor Applebaum both recorded three caused turnovers.
• Reed collected seven draw controls.
