BRUNSWICK, Maine – The top-seeded Bowdoin College women's basketball team sprinted to a 71-46 NESCAC quarterfinal victory over eighth-seeded Williams on Sunday, earning the right to host the conference championship next weekend.
The Polar Bears (25-0) will play fourth-seeded Amherst (19-6) on Saturday, March 1, at 2:00 p.m. in the opening game of a doubleheader, followed by second-seeded Colby (14-10) against third-seeded Trinity (18-7) at 4:30 p.m. Sunday's NESCAC title game is scheduled for noon.
