MEDFORD, Mass. – The Bowdoin men's ice hockey team suffered a 5-0 loss at Tufts to close out the regular season.
The Polar Bears end the regular season with a 9-12-3 (7-8-3 NESCAC) record and locked up the four seed for the NESCAC playoffs. The Jumbos end the regular season at 10-12-1 (8-10-0 NESCAC).
Game Highlights
- Bowdoin surrendered a power play goal at 13:23 to fall behind 1-0. Max Resnick finished off a scrum play in front to give the Jumbos the lead.
- Rory Andriole doubled the lead four minutes later. Philippe Lamarre pocked the puck off a Bowdoin player's stick along the boards and Andriole collected it and skated into the zone. Andriole wristed a shot to the top left corner.
- Brennan Horn scored midway through the second with a back door power play goal. Cole Dubicki buried a rebound two minutes later to make it 4-0.
- Tufts iced the game with a fifth and final goal in the third.
