AMHERST, Mass. – The Bowdoin College women's basketball team won in LeFrak Gymnasium for the first time since 2009, using a huge second quarter to pull away in a 65-54 win on Saturday afternoon. The Polar Bears, ranked fourth in Division III, improve to 20-0 (6-0 NESCAC) while the Mammoths drop to 14-6 (2-4 NESCAC).

  • Following a Bowdoin timeout, the Polar Bears put all thoughts of a Mammoth comeback to rest as Grace Kinum and Carly Davey knocked down consecutive three-pointers to push the lead back to ten points, 59-49, with 2:42 to go.
