BRUNSWICK, Maine - A new tradition is coming to Maine hockey this winter with the inaugural Lobster Pot Men's Hockey Tournament, set for January 2–3 at Falmouth Family Ice Center.
The two-day event will bring together all four of the state's Division III men's hockey programs—Bowdoin, Colby, the University of New England, and the University of Southern Maine—for a showcase of in-state competition. Tournament play begins Friday, January 2, with Colby vs. UNE at 3:30 p.m., followed by Bowdoin vs. Southern Maine at 7:00 p.m. Action continues Saturday, January 3, with the consolation game at 2:00 p.m. and the championship at 5:30 p.m. A youth clinic will also be held Friday from 2–3 p.m. at Casco Bay Arena, adjacent to Falmouth Family Ice.
Tickets are $8 per game (separate admission for each game) and will
go on sale at noon Monday, December 22 at this link. All games will be streamed online by the
Northeast Sports Network.
