BRUNSWICK, Maine – Bowdoin senior
Kyra Hacker (Natick, Mass.) has been named a Fourth Team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches Association in awards handed out by the organization.
In addition to earning All-American recognition, Hacker and sophomore
Kayley Huleatt (Rifton, N.Y.) were both named First Team All-Region honorees.
Hacker earned her first All-American selection after a stellar season on the back line that still saw the senior score six goals to rank second on the team. Hacker was timely with her tallies as she had two game-winners for the Polar Bears. Bowdoin's defense allowed just 1.31 goals per game and a .533 shots on goal percentage.
Huleatt was one of the top goal scorers in the conference with eight goals in 16 games and among conference leaders with five assists. The sophomore earned NESCAC Player of the Week honors twice in the season as she helped the Polar Bears to a 10-6 record that included an 8-1 record on Pickard Field.
