BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Middlebury men's soccer team mounted a late two-goal rally to upset Bowdoin 2-1 on Saturday.
The Polar Bears are 10-3-3 after their first loss since September. The Panthers (9-4-2) were the first team to score against Bowdoin since September 28.
Game Highlights
- Bowdoin scored first in the 19th minute. Tyler Huck took a free kick from midfield and sent the ball into the box. The ball bounced off one player before Jack Banks headed it to the side for Liam Myers to finish with a left footed shot.
- Middlebury tied the game in the 74th minute. Orlando Cavaceppi-Dove played a leading ball into the middle that Will Sawin ran onto. Sawin took two touches and beat the charging Alex Ainsworth to tie the game.
- A free kick from just outside the box in the final ten minutes allowed Colin Dugan to score the game-winner.

- Bowdoin controlled the majority of the game and outshot the Panthers 14-8 overall and 9-3 in the first half.
