WELLESLEY, Mass. – The Bowdoin College volleyball team fell to Wellesley in their final non-conference match of the regular season, 3-2, on Friday evening. The Polar Bears fall to 12-9 while the Blue improve to 10-9.
 
Match Highlights

• Wellesley edged out Bowdoin in a five-set battle: 29-27, 23-25, 25-27, 25-23, 15-10.
• Every set was incredibly tight as both teams battled to the limit. Bowdoin owned a 2-1 advantage overall, but Wellesley rallied to deadlock the match with a win in the fourth.
•  Tied at 9-9 midway through the fifth, Wellesley took control with a 5-1 run en route to the 15-10 victory.

By The Numbers

• Alison Smith had 20 kills against just three errors while Zoe Ryu had 21 kills and 19 digs.
• Gillian Colledge had seven kills and four blocks and Cameron Shelly had 44 assists and 24 digs.
• Anna Yeh posted 37 digs and Kelsey Kim had 20 for the Polar Bears.
