BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin volleyball team bounced back from a Friday setback to post a pair of Saturday wins, capping Senior Weekend in Morrell Gymnasium. The Polar Bears (12-8, 4-4 NESCAC) lost to Bates on Friday (3-1) but rebounded in impressive wins over Tufts (3-1) and Maine Maritime (3-0) on Saturday.
 
Bates Highlights

• After dominating the opening set, Bates rallied for a 7-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-20 win over Bowdoin, their first win over the Polar Bears since 2017.
• Zoe Ryu led the Polar Bears with 16 kills and 19 digs while Mina Mittler added 11 and Alison Smith had 10.
• Anna Yeh had 21 digs and Cameron Shelly added 50 assists.
• The Polar Bears hurt themselves with 29 attack errors and eight service errors in the loss.

Tufts Highlights

• Bowdoin looked strong throughout the match against the Jumbos, recording a 25-12, 25-19, 18-25, 25-19 win.
• Alison Smith was outstanding, posting 16 kills to lead all players.
• Zoe Ryu added 14 while Skye LaMendola had 12 with 14 digs.
• Anna Yeh had 26 digs and Shelly posted 45 assists as Bowdoin had 11 service aces, led by three apiece from LaMendola and Ryu.

Maine Maritime Highlights

• Bowdoin completed the weekend with a sweep of MMA, 25-13, 25-15, 25-23.
• Mina Mittler led Bowdoin with 11 kills while also adding two aces.
• Hannah Wooley added eight kills and two blocks for Bowdoin.
• Anna Yeh collected 18 digs and Shelly had 28 assists in the victory.
