BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's basketball team continued to roll, cruising to a 65-48 win over Connecticut College on Saturday afternoon in Morrell Gymnasium. The Polar Bears, ranked fourth in the latest WBCA Division III poll, improve to 13-0 this season (2-0 NESCAC) while the Camels fall to 9-6 (0-2 NESCAC).
Game Highlights
- Bowdoin never trailed as seven different players scored in the opening quarter to help build an 18-8 lead after one quarter of play.
- The Polar Bears pushed the lead to 17 points, 25-8, just moments into the second quarter, but the Camels were able to cut the lead back to ten points, 28-18, with 5:17 to go in the half.
- Following a Bowdoin timeout, the Polar Bears rolled off a 10-2 run to close the half, leading 38-20 at halftime, and by as many as 25 points in the second half on their way to the win.

- Sydney Jones led the way for Bowdoin, scoring 17 points with six assists, six rebounds, three steals, and a block in 25 minutes of action.
- Abbie Quinn scored 12 points with five boards while Grace Kinum pitched in 12 points and three assists with two steals off the bench.
- Callie Godfrey had ten points for Bowdoin, who finished at 41% shooting for the game while holding the Camels to 30%.
- The Polar Bears had ten steals as a team and scored 21 points off 17 Camel turnovers in the victory.
