Men's Soccer Dismisses UNE in Season-Opening Win

BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's soccer team opened its 2024 campaign with a 2-1 victory over the University of New England on Tuesday evening. The Polar Bears (1-0-0) improved to 26-0 all-time against the Nor'easters (1-1-1) with the win.

  • Bowdoin dominated from start to finish, holding a 19-3 shot advantage and 10-0 edge in corner kicks.
  • The Polar Bears jumped to an early edge as Jack Banks deposited a feed from Ronaldo Cabral in the 13th minute, capping a sustained possession by Bowdoin.
