Women's Soccer Blanked by Ephs in Sunday Matchup

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin women's soccer team struggled to find the net in a 1-0 setback to Williams on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Polar Bears remain winless in conference play with a 1-4-3 (0-4-0 NESCAC) record. The Ephs are 5-2-1 (4-1-1 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights
  • The game's lone goal came in the 17th minute. Piper Dupies took a corner kick from the right side and launched a cross to the far post. Tori Huang went up to head in the ball on the back side to go ahead 1-0.
  • While both teams managed to test opposing goalkeepers, quality opportunities were limited.

  • Charlotte Iannone kept the Polar Bears in the game with four saves in the first half and another three in the second.
  • The Polar Bears put three shots on goal with Margaret Huelin in net to open the game followed by another one in the final 45 minutes on Ana Bozzi-Mackay.
