GORHAM, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw with the University of Southern Maine, 0-0, on Tuesday night. The Polar Bears move to 1-2-2 this season while the Huskies stand at 4-1-1.
 
Game Highlights

• A balanced contest saw the teams each take four shots on goal in the opening half, with neither finding the back of the net.
• USM upped the pressure in the second half, holding a 13-2 advantage in shots but couldn't beat Bowdoin's defense, led by goaltender Charlotte Iannone.
• The last best chance of the contest came with under two minutes to play when USM's Riley Reitchel forced Iannone to make the stop to preserve the tie.

• USM owned a 23-9 edge in shots and 11-5 in shots on goal.
