Polar Bears Win At Wellesley With Trio of Goals

WELLESLEY, Mass. – The Bowdoin field hockey team picked up its third win of the season in a 3-0 victory at Wellesley on Tuesday evening.
 
The Polar Bears climb to 3-2 on the season with their third consecutive victory. The Blue are 3-3 on the year.
 
Game Highlights
  • Bowdoin went up 1-0 at 2:06 as Mackay Bommer cleaned up her own rebound to find the back of the net.
  • The Polar Bears earned a corner in the tenth minute and collapsed into the circle before Emily Ferguson could find Maya Malenfant to make it 2-0.
  • Six minutes into the second quarter, Ferguson put a shot on pads. Malenfant tracked down the rebound to bang in the team's third of the game.
  • Bowdoin had four corners in the second 30 minutes of play, but could not find another goal.
