BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's tennis team will host a five-team NCAA Division III Tournament regional this weekend as tournament selections were announced on Monday afternoon.
The Polar Bears (19-6) earned an automatic bid to the championship following their fourth NESCAC Championship last weekend and earned a first round bye. Bowdoin will play the winner of Friday's first round match between Farmingdale State and Nichols. The other second round match will feature Williams and Rensselaer. Saturday's winners will battle for a trip to the National Quarterfinals on Sunday at noon.
Bowdoin is making its 22
nd appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship. The Polar Bears will be hosting a regional for the first time since 2019. Bowdoin advanced to the national quarterfinals last spring and will be looking for their seventh trip to the finals site. The Polar Bears won the NCAA Division III crown in 2016.

10:00 a.m. - Bowdoin (19-6) vs. First Round winner
2:00 p.m. - Williams (15-4) vs. Rensselaer (17-1)
Third Round – Sunday, May 12
12:00 p.m. – Regional Final
All matches are scheduled to be played at
Pickard Courts, if weather permits. The indoor location for all matches is the
Maine Pines Racquet & Fitness club, a six-court indoor facility less than a quarter mile from campus.
