BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's tennis team got its spring season off to a solid start in a convincing 6-1 win over MIT on Saturday at Maine Pines Tennis Center. The Polar Bears (1-0) are currently ranked seventh in the Division III rankings.
 
Match Highlights

• The Polar Bears took the doubles point via a sweep of the session as Mark Kneiss/Jackson Codd (6-3), Simon Catanzaro/Kiran Garapati (7-6) and Aden Dorros/Mick Tamas (6-2) each netted wins for Bowdoin.
• In singles play Kneiss, Garapati, Cameron Zia, and Andrew Mendelson all took straight-set wins in singles action for Bowdoin.
• Jackson Codd rounded out the Polar Bear points with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 win at number three.
