Women's Lacrosse Scores Season-High in Goals in Non-Conference Win Over Plymouth

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College women's lacrosse team erupted for a season-high 22 goals in a non-conference win over Plymouth State on Wednesday evening, 22-4.
 
The Polar Bears (5-3) have now won three straight games overall while the Panthers fall to 3-4 this season with the loss.
 
Game Highlights
  • Molly Reed, who enjoyed a career night in scoring, got Bowdoin started with a pair of early goals as the Polar Bears took a 5-1 edge after one quarter of play.
  • The Polar Bears continued to roll in the second quarter, outscoring Plymouth State 6-1 thanks in part to a pair of Ellie Schofield goals, and led 11-2 at intermission.
  • Bowdoin got into running time midway through the third quarter, and scored the final nine goals of the contest en route to the win.
