CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Bowdoin College men's lacrosse team scored a season-high 22 goals, sprinting past MIT in a 22-13 non-conference win on Tuesday evening.

Casey Ryan, the ninth-ranked Polar Bears improve to 5-1 while the Engineers fall to 2-4.
Game Highlights
- The teams traded goals in the early going before a 4-0 run spanning the end of the first quarter and beginning of the second gave the Polar Bears the lead for good.
- MIT stayed within four goals, at 8-4, until a 5-1 run to end the first half, highlighted by two goals each from Will Byrne and Jason Lach, gave the Polar Bears a commanding 12-5 lead at the break.
- Bowdoin put away any thoughts of a comeback with another huge run, this one spanning the end of the third into the fourth period, rolling off seven straight goals to lead by as many as 13 goals in the final quarter of play.

- First-year Casey Ryan had his second big game in a row, flirting with the school's single game points record (12 by Donal Mullane in 2022), finishing with six goals and five assists for the Polar Bears.
- Jason Lach had five goals and an assist, along with two caused turnovers, while Will Byrne finished with four goals and two assists.
- Beau Burns had a big night on the dot, winning 20 of 30 faceoffs for the Polar Bears while Sam Raye-Steiner pitched in a goal and three assists.
- Zach Goorno joined Burns with a team-best five ground balls while Robert Hobbs finished with eight saves to lead the Polar Bear defense.
