PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – The Bowdoin College women's lacrosse team picked up its second win in as many days, defeating Westfield State 14-9, in its final Florida contest on Wednesday morning.
 
The Polar Bears improve to 2-2 on the year while the Owls fall to 3-1 with their first loss.
 
Game Highlights

• Bowdoin jumped to a 5-1 lead in the opening quarter, spurred by a trio of early goals by Emelia Krakora.
• Westfield closed the gap to within a single goal, 5-4, in the second quarter, but a late goal by Caroline Higgins before halftime gave Bowdoin a 6-4 edge at the break.
• Bowdoin used a 6-2 third quarter to put the game out of reach as Lauren Burke and Annie Moore both scored twice in the decisive run.

• Emelia Krakora finished with a team-high four goals while winning five draws and collecting a pair of ground balls.
• Annie Moore had three goals and Lauren Burke added two goals with two assists.
• Ellie Schofield had three draws and three caused turnovers for the Polar Bears.
