BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men's squash team is the seventh seed for the upcoming NESCAC Championship Tournament scheduled for this weekend at Amherst College.
After a one-year hiatus, Bowdoin is back in the NESCAC Championship for the 16th time in program history and will play No. 2 Williams in the quarterfinals Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
The Polar Bears dropped a 9-0 decision to the Ephs on January 13 and Williams is 3-0 against Bowdoin in the NESCAC Championship. However, Bowdoin is looking to advance to the semifinals for the second time in three years.
The top eight teams in the conference based on ELO rankings will compete for the title in a single-elimination tournament. Quarterfinal matches are set to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 10. The semifinals and final are set to be played on Sunday, February 11.
