Women's Hockey Blanked by Continentals

CLINTON, N.Y. – The Bowdoin women's ice hockey team suffered a 2-0 setback on Saturday against Hamilton.
 
The Polar Bears return home with an 8-11-3 (3-8-3 NESCAC) record. The top-ten Continentals are 12-4-4 (5-4-3 NESCAC).
 
Game Highlights
  • The Continentals broke through on a power play opportunity at 1:14 in the second. Abby Smith wrapped around the back of the net and tucked the puck inside the left post.
  • Hamilton extended its lead five minutes into the third. Claire McGennis backhanded a no-angle shot from the left side that snuck through Sally Solotaroff-Webber's pads.
