BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Navy men's squash team prevailed in a nailbiter over Bowdoin in the Polar Bears' season opener Sunday at the Lubin Center, 5-4.
 
Navy, ranked 16^th nationally, moves to 11-2 on the season while 24^th-ranked Bowdoin falls to 0-1.
 
Match Highlights

• Jack Winston earned a 3-1 (7-11, 11-7, 11-9, 11-8) win at the number one spot for Bowdoin while Nick Wilkinson also captured a 3-1 victory at number four (11-6, 11-5, 5-11, 11-2).
• A pair of hard-fought 3-2 wins at number six by William Maschler (11-4, 6-11, 11-7, 7-11, 11-3) and Ronak Nagar at number nine (12-10, 9-11, 8-11, 11-8, 11-6) closed the gap for the Polar Bears.
