in a 34-14 decision.

LAST MEETING
Last year in Brunswick, Bowdoin rallied from an early deficit to run away from Bates
in a 35-20 Homecoming Weekend win. The Polar Bears held the Bobcats to -25 rushing yards on the day, setting a new school record.

CBB UPDATE
Bates must beat Bowdoin on Saturday to have any hope of a three-way CBB tie in 2024. The
Bobcats fell to Colby in Waterville on October 5, 28-26. A Polar Bear win would set up a CBB championship game next Saturday in Brunswick against the Mules. Bowdoin currently holds the CBB Trophy following a sweep of their Maine rivals last year. The Polar Bears are looking for their first back-to-back state titles since winning three straight between 2006-08.
BOWDOIN vs. BATES – ALL-TIME
In the tenth-longest rivalry in Division III football history, the teams have played 125 times dating back to 1889 (a 62-0 Bowdoin win). The Polar Bears hold a 68-50-7 edge in the all-time series but are looking for their first win in Lewiston since 2007.
