BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College football team rallied from an early deficit to run away from Bates in a 35-20 Homecoming win Saturday afternoon at Whittier Field. The Polar Bears snap a two-game losing skid and improve to 3-2 on the season while the Bobcats fall to 0-5.

  • Following a scoreless third quarter, Bates trimmed the lead with a 22-yard field goal to open the fourth period, cutting the lead to 28-20.
  • The Bowdoin defense locked down the Bobcats from there, forcing two punts and two turnovers and holding Bates to negative-11 yards of offense on four drives.
