Game Highlights
  • Bowdoin held a 5-3 edge in shots in the opening half and produced several promising opportunities. Bowdoin executed some precision passing, threading the needle through Wesleyan's defense, but could not finish off the plays.
  • Ten minutes into the second half, Cadence Lee sent a shot to the top left corner, but Molly Brumbach was there to punch the ball up and over the crossbar.
  • Midway through the half, Kerenza Leahey barely missed as she chipped a shot inches over the crossbar.
  • Stefanie Stoj nearly converted with under 20 minutes remaining as she got behind the Bowdoin defense and missed an uncontested shot wide right.
  • Wesleyan finally found the net in the 85th minute off the foot of Meredith Feiner. Feiner worked against a Bowdoin defender on the left endline and came away with the ball. Feiner's low angle shot disappeared into the far side post.
  • With the seconds counting down, Kayley Huleatt missed a header opportunity with her connection going just wide.
