Late Goal Lifts Women's Soccer to 1-1 Tie at Trinity

HARTFORD, Conn. – The Bowdoin women's soccer team scored late in the second half to notch a 1-1 tie at Trinity on Sunday.
 
The Bantams are still winless in conference play with a 2-8-1 overall record and 0-5-1 NESCAC record.  The Polar Bears are 2-4-5 on the season with a 1-4-2 conference record.
 
Game Highlights
  • Bowdoin controlled the shots advantage in the first half with a 5-3 edge, but it was the Bantams who scored just two minutes into play.
  • The Polar Bears ramped on their offensive pressure in the second half with 12 shots.
  • Jackie Shores scored her third goal of the week in the 78th minute. Shore's solo effort salvaged a point for the Polar Bears out of the weekend.

  • Bowdoin fired off 17 shots and allowed seven by the Bantams.
